Weekend boating accident turns fatal in Cuba, Missouri
Posted 11:59 am, January 31, 2016, by Staff WriterCUBA, MO (KTVI) – Missouri State Highway Patrol report a fatal boating accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in Cuba, Missouri. The incident happened at Indian Hills Lake. Officials say that a 1994 Aweld boat traveling southbound made an abrupt turn, causing the driver and a passenger to be ejected from the boat. The boat struck a dock before coming to a stop. The driver of the boat was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials identify the victim as 51 year-old Roger Farrar of Cuba. This is Troop I’s first water fatality of the year.
